With all aspects of design, there always needs to be a balance, contrast! WIth something complex, comes something simple. We need this to create the balance, and feeling of unity. If we only create something that is simple, it is dull and boring. We need to realize that when creating, we need complex ideas with simple design. Complex graphs, with simple navigation. You cannot have only one. I think this is so important when designing, and after reading this book, because you have to make sure to simplify, but not too much. You need to simplify and yet have smart ideas that are complex.
