Key 1- To simplify, move the complexity far away. By leaving the useful part (end result) at hand and moving the part that does all the work somewhere else, simplicity is the only part that is perceived. This is important for everyone because by letting someone else handle and deal with the complex part, our lives maintain manageability.
Key 2- Being open also promotes simplicity. Companies that make their program source codes open and available are able to help users fix problems easier rather than ones that keep theirs locked down. By being open there is better functionality. Some companies are afraid of giving away there information, but giving can lead to receiving from there users in the end.
Key 3- Power is something that drives our world. Everything needs it to work, even things with batteries need to be recharged eventually. If products can be created that make there own energy, they promote simplicity by not having to be continually recharged and because they will not continue to impact the environment with endless power-ups.
Life- Life can be as simple or as complex as you make it. Even though we have all this technology, it doesn’t always actually make things simple. Technical problems can create more complexity than if you had just done it yourself, the old fashioned way, rather than depend on the machine to support you.
